Problem Statement

One of the largest laminates & surface solution companies, which was well initiated into the digitization of their procurement process was struggling with the adoption of their existing platform on which they had already made a substantial investment.

Desire

The leadership was fully convinced of the benefit of Digitizing of the procurement process and wanted to give the initiative a second chance with focus on “Adoption”.

Solution

Our platform “procurEngine” is designed for high adoption owing to it’s “Easy to Use” attribute. In addition, we also have the largest number of use cases that can be handled through our “Sourcing Modules” covering Raw Materials, MROs, CAPEX, Logistics, Scrap sales etc.

We worked closely with the User team, to begin with the users, who were excited to adopt post our demo during which they found our platform extremely easy to use and produced very effective outcomes in respect of easy participation by the suppliers, extreme competition and hence substantial reduction ( 4-17%) in the prices and easy automated workflows to complete the ordering process. They also experienced substantial reduction @ 60% in the TAT (Purchase Requisition to PO).

Outcome

In quick time we witnessed over 300 events being conducted on our platform every month and wider adoption by the other category buyers encouraged by the experience of the early adopters.

Future Plan

Customer is in the second year of Subscription and has already planned to add other modules of the full stack including integrating it with their ERP to complete their road map of automation of the Procurement function.
